The Leighton Centre is hosting the 2009 Open Water show for the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour.
The show runs from September 4th to October 24th. The opening reception is on Saturday Sept. 12th from 1-4. I’m heading out there today because I have a piece that was accepted into the show. So it will be great to get out there with other artists.
If you haven’t been out to the Leighton Centre then it is certainly well worth the drive. The lands are extensive and have a breathtaking view. The Leighton Centre is the house of the well-known Alberta artist A.C. Leighton.
