I love them and the fact that they are unique is amazing. The biggest thing is to see how much they cost for the ready made ones and see if you can compete. I would love one for my acer tablet…might have to get you to do a custom piece

Thanks Jennifer, I keep looking at it and seeing different things. This piece is 2ft by 4ft…in fact it’s the same size as the piece Richard purchased from me (bought this canvas at the same time I started his), but oriented different.

Like the patterns of frozen Hexagon ice patterns in a window, on fire. What is the actual measurements of this piece?

Oh I can hardly wait to get down in the studio some days….that Zodiac painting is hanging in my family room…it’s a very different piece for me.

Sometimes I can’t get all the ideas out of my head fast enough.

Hey Karen. I’ve very intrigued by the Zodiac piece. I admire your passion and drive 89 paintings completed in 1 year, that’s amazing (and a little crazy). Your active imagination must never shut off.

I am absorbed in your paintings. For me, it is like travelling through varied spectacular land and sea escapes. I feel like watching Picasso’s works. I refuse to believe that you have no formal training! I know that talent & passion is much more than formal training. I don’t know very much about art but I am a great admirer of artists!

These pieces are currently framed with small black frames with the two panes of glass. I do have some pictures of them with the frame that I could add to the post just to give a visual. Today I just started two larger ones in hopes that they can sit and dry over the Christmas Holiday. The Show that the other pieces are in finished yesterday (just a two-day show). I know one of them had sold, but I will know the final sales tomorrow when I go to get the remaining paintings.

Nice new work, Karen. I really like your presentation of floating them in the glass. It picks up on the fluidity of the paint, and even when the colours are more about fire, gives some contrast for me with water and fire. I think it works well with the scale of these pieces. What mechanism do you have for hanging them? Without having seen them for real, I like the first two you have posted best, ‘Compressed Fire’ and ‘Containing Lines’. When is the show?
